Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) is a Public University established under Statutory Instrument, Number 2 of 2022, hence a body corporate with perpetual succession and a Common Seal. First established as a Private University in 2005, by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), in accordance with the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act 2001, as amended, MMU has been making strides towards becoming an academic Centre of excellence.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To manage and supervise the procurement and disposal function in the University in accordance to existing legal and policy frameworks.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
- Should have a Master’s degree in either Procurement and Purchasing or Logistics and Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution.
- Should have an Honors’ Bachelor’s degree in Supplies Chain Management or Procurement and Logistics or Business Administration or Management (Procurement option) obtained from a recognized institution of Higher Learning.
- Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
- Should be a member of a recognized professional procurement or logistics and supply chain management body.
EXPERIENCE
Should have at least seven (7) years relevant working experience in procurement, or reputable organization.
COMPETENCES
a) Working experience of Electronic Government Procurement (EGP) will be an added advantage.
b) Fully IT Literate and conversant with PPDA Act 2003 and Regulations, as amended and its guidelines.
c) Should have in-depth knowledge of laws governing procurement.
d) Should have leadership and supervisory skills.
e) Should have the ability to build, lead and work with teams.
f) Should have well developed communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
g) Should be able to work additional extra hours as and when required.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Providing a supervisory role to the accountants in their various units.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
a) MBA (Finance/Accounting option), MSc. Finance and Accounting from a recognizable institution.
b) Full professional accounting Certificate from a recognizable institution.
c) Honours Bachelor of Commerce/BBA (Finance/Accounting), Bachelor of Science (Accounting and Finance)
d) Must be a full member of ICPAU.
EXPERIENCE
a) A minimum of six (6) years of working experience, three (3) of which must have worked as Senior Accountant/Finance in Government or reputable organisation.
b) Senior operational experience relevant to finance, strategic planning and investment.
c) Working with Government Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) will be an added advantage
COMPETENCES
a) Evidence of team leadership, including team building and individual professional development.
b) Proven experience in timely preparation of routine and periodic financial statements and reports, reviewing and approving the correctness of the statements;
c) Advanced IT and numeracy skills.
d) Good communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build productive relationships with senior management, employees,and external stakeholders.
e) A commitment to, and experience of working to achieve the highest possible standards in the context of new developments in large a organization.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To assist the Principal Human Resource Officer in managing, coordinating and enforcing the implementation of Human Resource policies of the University.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
a) A minimum of an Honor’s Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational or Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, Development Studies (Human Resource management option), Social Work and Social Administration, Public Administration and Management (Human Resource management option), Business Administration (Human Resource management option), Social Sciences with a focus in human resource management.
b) A Post-graduate qualification in Human Resource Management from a recognised institution is a must.
EXPERIENCE:
a) Should have at least three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource Management as a Human Resource Officer in a Public Institution or reputable organisation.
b) Working with Government Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS), Human Capital Management System (HCM)/Integrated Personnel and Payroll System (IPPS) will be an added advantage.
c) Membership of a professional Human Resource Management body like HRMAU is an added advantage.
COMPETENCES:
a) Should have high integrity with excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
b) Should have proven ability to transfer skills and knowledge to others through formal training and technical support
c) Demonstrated Computer Literacy and Presentation skills.

- A full professional qualification from a Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) is an added advantage
- Membership of a recognized professional procurement or logistics and supply chain management body is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE:
Should have at least five (5) years of teaching experience gained from a recognized institution of higher learning.
