The E-Resources/Digital Section of the library is tasked with acquiring, maintaining, and facilitating access to online materials, including research databases, online journals, and e-books. Staff in this section also fulfill document delivery requests upon special inquiry.
For Document Delivery requests, clients can contact the Digital Section staff electronically through the Library’s online platforms or via email at (email@example.com). Clients requesting this service should provide essential information such as the author’s name, complete article and journal/book titles, volume and issue numbers, publication date, and page numbers.
Creating links and accounts for access to electronic resources requires specific formatting to ensure universal access. Training schedules are available to help guide users on the correct methods for linking to electronic materials and correct procedures of how to access these resources. Apart from information literacy on electronic resources, the library also offers information literacy on Referencing tools used at MMU especially for the third year students and staff in the field of research.
The section’s mission is to guarantee the availability, management, dissemination, access, and marketing of electronic and digitized resources within the library and university at large.
