Mr. Rodgers Mutyebere is a Lecturer in the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Mountains of the Moon University, Fort Portal, Uganda. Rodgers is currently a Ph.D. Researcher at KU Leuven Belgium. He obtained a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Makerere University Uganda and B. Voc. Agric from Kyambogo University Uganda. Rodgers has 12 years of teaching, research, community engagement, and consultancy experience. He has several research publications in international journals, mainly on the adoption of improved varieties and farmers’ efficiency, improved varieties and input elasticities, the effectiveness of audio-media in enhancing farmers’ knowledge and financial literacy skills. He has carried out research on Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment and adoption of Smart Agriculture, and assessing the feasibility of Bird-Friendly Certification, Eco-technology and Eco-tourism businesses in the Rwenzori region, Uganda. His current research direction is about Knowledge Transfer for the adoption of efficient Disaster Risk Reduction strategies and Improved Livelihoods. Rodgers also has special training in STATA software for data analysis, Financial literacy, Radio Broadcasting and Management, Enabling Rural Innovation (ERI), and Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLAs) programs.
