Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) has appointed Dr. Prisca Kyalisiima as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, for a period of six months, in a move Management says is intended to ensure continuity and effective leadership within the Faculty.
The announcement follows a handover of office on 17th August 2026 presided over by Prof. John M. Kasenene, the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs, held at the Vice Chancellor’s Boardroom, Lake Saaka Campus. The handover was witnessed by the Acting University Secretary, Leofrida Oyella, alongside other Faculty staff.
In her new capacity, Dr. Prisca will provide leadership and oversight of the Faculty’s academic, administrative, and operational activities. Her mandate includes coordinating staff and supporting the effective delivery of teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement initiatives across the Faculty.
Management has called upon all staff and stakeholders to accord Dr. Prisca the necessary support and cooperation as she undertakes the assignment during the stated period.
Speaking shortly after the handover, Dr. Prisca thanked Management for entrusting her with the responsibility of leading the Faculty for the six-month period, expressing commitment to building on the Faculty’s ongoing academic and administrative programs.
