Demonstrating remarkable resilience, student-athlete Aheebwa David has spearheaded the attack, earning accolades as the League's Best New Player and securing a spot in the overall Best XI Team of the League.

In their Pepsi UFL campaign, MMU showed immense courage away in Kampala against Kampala International University (KIU) on October 30, 2025, in a six-goal thriller where Aheebwa David opened the scoring in the 3rd minute and completed a brace in the 40th minute before KIU eventually sealed a 4–2 victory. Hosted at St. Leo's Kyegobe Stadium in Fort Portal on October 13, 2025, MMU fought fiercely in front of their home fans against Kampala University (KU), with Aheebwa David scoring a late free-kick goal in a 3–1 result. The team also earned a hard-fought goalless draw (0–0) against the University of Kisubi (UNIK) on September 27, 2025, demonstrating solid defensive organization.

On the regional stage, the team reached the quarter-final stages in their debut at the East African University Games (FEAUS) at Maseno University in Kenya, finishing 28th out of 46 participating universities. MMU is set to return to the FEAUS Games at Makerere University from December 14–21, 2026. The team also finished as runners-up, bringing home a silver medal from the Street Lovers Independence Cup.
