Eng. Professor Peter Okidi-Lating is a Ministerial Appointee to Senate and he represents Senate on the University Council. He is the Vice-Chairperson of the Appointments Board.
Prof. Lating is a Mechanical Engineer and Professor at the College of Engineering, Design, Art, and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University. As a Member of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Makerere University, his research interests are in techno-science studies, engineering, mathematics, and innovation systems, and cluster development.
Eng. Prof. Peter Okidi-Lating is a registered Mechanical Engineer with the Uganda Engineers Registration Board and a Board Member on the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers.
