Currently engaged in two Library and Information Services’ improvement projects, namely:

  1. Automation of the MMU Library and Information Services’ processes and workflows. The project aims at easing users’ access and retrieval of the vital information they need for their matters that matter most. It involves staff skills’ enhancement, identification and customization of an appropriate software, capturing all metadata of library print resources into the system identified.
  2. The Establishment of the Mountains of the Moon Institutional Repository, branded as an innovative idea leading to MMU-KGW (MMU- knowledge Gate Way). The project aims at identifying and customizing the needed application, disseminating the approved relevant policies, skilling staff among others.

All the above are ongoing activities.
