The 2nd Annual MMU Research Conference

About

The 2nd Annual MMU research conference aims to attract, professionals, academia, innovators, and policymakers to attend this high-level  conference and share their novel research/policy briefs with the scientific community and practitioners around the globe.  We invite authors across the region and beyond to submit their scientific extended abstracts for consideration in the conference oral or poster presentation on a topic of interest relating to the session themes below.

Extended Abstract format

All submitted papers will undergo a comprehensive double-blind peer review managed by the Editorial Team. Submitted papers will be evaluated basing on the guidelines provided to the right.

Major Sections

Introduction

The research question and hypothesis are clearly stated.

  • The goals and specific objectives of the research are clearly presented.
  • The author(s) have conducted an extensive literature review on the topic, identified a significant gap in the literature, and attempted to fill the gap

Methods and Materials

The research is grounded in a recognized theory with sound theoretical development

Findings and discussions

  • The results are clearly explained
  • Precisely and concisely integrates the findings with literature

Conclusions & Implications

  • The paper draws reasonable conclusions which are clearly explained
  • The significance and applicability of the results for several stakeholders  are discussed
  • The paper expands the readers’ knowledge of the topic
  • The authors acknowledge the limitations of the study

Other Instructions

  • APA references style
  • The extended abstract must be an original submission not presented
  • or published elsewhere
  • The abstract should be submitted as a MS Word file by e-mail
  • Extended abstract should be no more than 4,000 words, single spaced in Times New Roman 12 point
  • The extended abstract should be written in English
