The Office of the University Secretary is a statutory office established under Section 33 of the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act, 2001 (as amended).
The University Secretary provides strategic leadership in planning and implementation, budgeting and execution, policy formulation and implementation, human resource management, and general administration. The Office also oversees key operational areas such as procurement, facilities and asset management, and security, ensuring full compliance with the laws and regulations of the Government of Uganda.
