Mr. Tawheed Kasiita is a committed scholar serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Foundations of Education, Faculty of Education, at Mountains of the Moon University. His academic grounding in Teacher Training, Technical Education, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering positions him to contribute meaningfully to the preparation of future STEM educators. He is a PhD scholar at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), specializing in Physics with emphasis on Electronics and Instrumentation. He holds a Master of Science in Technical Education (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from IUT, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from KIU. His research interests span Educational Technology, Artificial Intelligence, innovative pedagogies, CBE and STEM education, areas that reflect his passion for improving instructional quality through technology-driven solutions.

Housed in the Faculty of Education, his interdisciplinary expertise uniquely supports the university’s strategic commitment to advancing technology-enhanced teaching, STEM education, and CBE teacher preparation. Kasiita’s teaching responsibilities are primarily carried out within the Faculty of Science, where he teaches physical sciences including electronics, electricity and magnetism, electronics and instrumentation, areas that strongly match his academic background. His multifaceted role and love for innovation position him as a STEM teacher trainer who integrates scientific knowledge, practical laboratory skills, and innovative pedagogical competence to strengthen both teacher education and science instruction at the university.
