Teaching Assistant

Amanyire Richard is a teaching assistant in the Faculty of Education, Mountains of the Moon University (MMU). He is a specialist of Economics of Education in the department of Education foundations at Mountains of the Moon University. He holds Master of Education specializing in Economics of Education from Kyambogo University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts with Educations – Economics Major from Kyambogo University. Above all, he has acquired diverse knowledge and skills through other several teacher training programs aimed at improving his expertise as a teacher trainer. Has engaged in teaching, research supervision and collaboration with peers.

His research interests are in Teacher Professional Development, Efficiency and equity in education, equity and equality of Educational opportunities, Graduate employability and productivity, labour markets for Teachers and Educational Financing, that will lead to the making of rational policies and  making  informed investment choices in education and aims to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and utilize suitable education plan, policies and investment options for both Individual and National Development.
