The MMU Communications office aims at fostering and maintaining positive relationships between the university and its stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and the broader community. This office is dedicated to enhancing the university’s reputation, promoting its mission and values, and ensuring effective internal and external communication.
The vision of the Communication and Marketing office is to inspire audiences to connect and engage with university while strengthening its brand, and enhancing our reputation as a trusted and influential institution in education, research, and innovation.
Through collaboration with other departments and leveraging market insights, we ensure that our initiatives effectively reach and engage diverse audiences ranging from prospective students and alumni to partners and the broader community.
Our team is dedicated to crafting and sharing compelling stories that highlight the university’s achievements, research, student innovations, and community impact. We utilize a range of platforms, including traditional media, website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and digital campaigns, to tell the MMU story with authenticity and impact.
Ultimately, the Communication and Marketing Office serves as the voice of MMU, connecting the university with the world, fostering meaningful relationships, and advancing its mission and values. With a focus on enrollment growth, we engage MMU brand ambassadors and alumni to attract, enroll, and retain a vibrant, high-quality student community both locally and internationally.
The department operates under the leadership of the Principal Communication Officer, reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, and is supported by a dynamic team including a Communication Officer and an International Relations Officer who coordinates all international engagements at the University.
