Assoc. Prof. Edmond Kagambe

Biography

Assoc. Prof. Edmond Kagambe is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Finance & Administration) of MMU. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Moi University, Kenya. Masters of Education, Foundations in Education Administration and Planning, of Makerere University; Bachelor of Science with Education; and Certificate in Executive Business Administration (CEBA), Business Administration and Management General from University of Salford.

Assoc. Prof. Kagambe is a seasoned educationist with over 30 years of experience in teaching high school, undergraduate, and graduate courses in Education Administration, Planning, Policy Studies, and Community oriented action research. He is holding a Common Wealth Professional Scholarship Award, 2015, and the Australian Professional fellowship awards 2016. He is a member of the Uganda Vice-Chancellor’s Forum, Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA).

He is a National Assessor of Quality Education with National Council for Higher Education in Uganda. A member of Forum for Education NGOs in Uganda (FENU), Rwenzori Regional Think Tank, and Tooro Education Foundation, in Uganda. He is a member of the African Education Trust assisting in rebuilding curriculum, exams, and school systems. He actively participates in continued learning through conferences and professional research. Believes in students’ abilities to learn and inherent thirst for knowledge in the right environment. He actively works to connect students to their material to transform lives.
