Bernard Wakabi Muhangi

Dr. Bernard Wakabi Muhangi is a researcher in Finance and management of financial institutions. He is a University lecturer with Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) and a Business consultant. Holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration and Management of Uganda Management Institute (UMI),  a Master’s Degree in Business Administration of Uganda Martyrs University and a Bachelor of Commerce of Makerere University. He holds several certificates in Data management, Resource mobilization, financial literacy etc.

Dr. Muhangi has worked with several organisations where he has occupied different positions and involving in several consultancies.  At his MMU, he has risen through the ranks to the level of Faculty Dean, a position he relinquished recently. Besides being a lecturer in the Faculty of business and Management Sciences, he is a member of the following committees 1. University Contracts committee 2. University Senate Examinations committee 3. Committee of postgraduate studies, research and innovation, 4. Faculty Board, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, 5. Higher degrees committee. He has also supervised several research dissertations at Masters and Bachelor levels. He has also published and reviewed several research papers with reputable international peer reviewed Journals.

In community service, Bernard is the Chairperson, Board of Directors, Center for African Development Initiative (CADI), a local CBO that helps communities in personal and community development, and a member of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda (ICGU).
