Teaching Assistant

Rugumayo Charles is a Teaching Assistant of Community Nursing and Midwifery education specialist at the Nursing and Midwifery department. My passion for Medical Education in nursing and midwifery schools started from FINS Medical University in Fort Portal City, Western Uganda. During my tenure, I mentored a very large number of nurses and midwives in health education, advocating for patients, using advanced educational technology, applying various teaching methods, teaching aids and writing objectives, and many more.

Rugumayo Charles Holds a Masters of science in Health Professions Education (MScHPE) of Makerere University, Bachelors in Medical Education(BME) of Makerere University, Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing(DCN) of Masaka School Comprehensive Nursing and now a first year student for a Doctor of philosophy in Medical Education(PhD ME) from MOI University Kenya.
