Roles performed and achievements:

 

  • Development of the strategic University Plan for MMU 2017
  • Review of the University Policies and led in the application process for the University charter status
  • Curriculum development and review
  • Conduct periodic reviews and students’ assessment of teaching and learning at the University.
  • Development of technical University annual Reports for the years 2015 to 2018, to include classified top management reports, quality assurance and monitoring and evaluation reports.
  • Capacity building of university Staff on aspects of Quality Assurance practices and strategic quality management skills.
  • Carried out benchmarking activities as a means of controlling and improving on quality delivery

  • Advising the VC and DVC on matters pertaining quality standards and guide lines as prescribed by NCHE

Roles Played:

  • National Council for Higher Education Quality Assurance Expert during the NCHE Charter inspection of Metropolitan International University between 20th to 30th of November 2023.
  • National Council for Higher Education Quality Assurance Expert for inspection of St. Peter’s University Licensing Process.
  • National Council for Higher Education Quality Assurance Expert on a 18-member team for the Inspection of Muteesa 1 Royal University for grant of a Charter. Between 27th September 2022 for 3rd October 2022.
  • Conducting Academic Programme Assessment
  • Main technical stakeholder on quality assurance issues at NCHE, under the umbrella of Ugandan Universities
  • Quality Assurance Forum (UUQAF).
