Grace Mary Mbabazi

Assistant Lecturer

Grace Mary Mbabazi is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences at Mountains of the Moon University. She is an academic and researcher with interests spanning finance, microfinance, firm innovation, financial performance, organisational learning, service quality, and community development.

Her research focuses particularly on microfinance institutions in Uganda, with emphasis on dynamic capabilities, firm innovation, and financial performance. Her scholarly work examines how organisations can develop and utilise capabilities to enhance innovation, strengthen financial performance, and respond effectively to changing financial and competitive environments.

Grace Mary Mbabazi has also contributed to interdisciplinary research in hospitality, organisational learning, theatre for development, gender justice, and agricultural communities in Uganda. Her research reflects an interest in addressing practical organisational and socio-economic challenges through evidence-based inquiry.

Her scholarly contributions include research published in areas such as microfinance, finance, hospitality, organisational development, and theatre for development. Through her teaching and research, she contributes to the advancement of knowledge in banking, finance, management, and related fields, with a particular interest in research that has practical relevance to organisations and communities in Uganda.
