Associate Professor John Patrick Kagorora is an accomplished agricultural scientist, researcher, and university lecturer with over 30 years of professional experience in agricultural research, higher education, and knowledge dissemination. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Crop Protection although his research interest extends broadly into general crop agronomy, where he investigates sustainable crop production practices, crop management technologies, climate-resilient agriculture, and strategies for enhancing agricultural productivity.

Throughout his career, Associate Professor John Patrick Kagorora has served as an Agricultural Officer, where he led agricultural extension and technology dissemination initiatives; as a Research Scientist conducting applied agricultural research; and as a University Lecturer, teaching and mentoring the next generation of agricultural professionals. He has also worked with leading institutions, including the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO), the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), where he has contributed to research, training, and agricultural development. His extensive experience spans research, capacity building, and the promotion of innovative agricultural practices that support sustainable rural development.
