Dr. Muleke Paul is a distinguished teacher educator and academic leader with over fifteen years of experience in higher education. Passionate about shaping the next generation of educators, he has dedicated his career to advancing teacher training at Bachelors, Masters and PhD Levels, curriculum innovation, and educational quality in Uganda.
Throughout his career, Dr. Muleke has successfully been a member of several transformative projects aimed at improving teaching and learning in public universities. His project Integrating Patriotism in Teacher Education Curriculum in Public Universities in Uganda (PAPU) promoted national values and civic responsibility among trainee teachers. Through Using Emerging Technologies to Innovate the Teaching and Learning of History Education in Public Universities in Uganda (e-History), he championed the use of digital technologies to make History education more interactive and engaging. He also been a member of a project on Increasing the Employability and Entrepreneurial Skills of Secondary School Teachers, equipping educators with practical skills to thrive in an evolving job market.
Dr. Muleke’s scholarly engagement extends beyond project membership. He serves as a reviewer for several reputable international journals, including the Asian Journal of Education and Social Studies, the Journal of Education, Society and Behavioral Sciences, the Asian Research Journal of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Asian Journal of Advanced Research and Reports. His expertise and dedication to academic excellence have earned him appointments as an Institutional and Programme Reviewer with the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), and as an External Examiner for Makerere University, Kyambogo University, Gulu University, and Nkumba University.
Currently, Dr. Muleke Paul serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Education at Mountains of the Moon University, where he provides visionary leadership in curriculum design and review, academic mentorship, and faculty development. Beyond academia, he is deeply involved in community and faith-based initiatives and serves as the Head of Laity at St. Stepheno Small Christian Community, Katale-Sseguku.
Dr. Muleke’s work reflects a deep commitment to nurturing well-rounded, values-driven teachers and to fostering innovation, patriotism, and excellence in Uganda’s education system.
