Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) is taking its academic programs directly
to secondary school students in the Kigezi and Ankole sub-regions.
A team from the Public Relations and Marketing Unit has been visiting schools to
guide learners on their university choices.

The team has so far visited Kabale Secondary School, Kigezi High School,
Kigezi College Butobere, Trinity College Kabale, Standard College Ntungamo
and Kabatsi High School, Crane High School. It has also reached schools in
Bushenyi, Rubirizi and Ishaka, with more visits to follow.
The outreach comes about a month before Senior Six candidates sit their final
examinations. This is the point at which many students begin weighing which
course and university to pursue next year. During the visits, the team has been
introducing learners to the programs MMU offers and advising them on making
informed choices about their future.

The delegation comprises Brens Wambedde Willie, Public Relations Officer;
Gilbert Matsiko, Ag. Principal Communications Officer; Dorcus Murungi,
International Relations Officer; and Joab Nuwamanya, Volunteer Radio
Presenter.
