Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) will on Monday, 21st September 2026, host Dr.
Ogutu Vincent Onyango, Vice Chancellor of Strathmore University, Kenya, for a guest lecture at
the MMU Saaka Campus.
The lecture, to be held at the parking lot in front of Block A, will be delivered in two sessions
targeting both students and staff. The event will be hosted by Prof. Pius Coxwell Achanga, Vice
Chancellor of MMU.
The first session, running from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, is designed for students and will focus on
the theme "Managing Campus Freedom, Social Life, and Academic Success." The second
session, scheduled from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM, targets academic and administrative staff,
addressing "Academic Leadership in the Evolving Higher Education Landscape: Opportunities,
Challenges and Way Forward."
All MMU students and staff have been invited to attend.
