The Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) Academic Registrar Mrs. Nyakahuma Grace Akiiki has on 16th December 2022 flagged off MMU sports students to participate in the upcoming East African University games due to take place at Ndejje University, Luwero district.
The sports activity brings together all East African Universities to an annual event that sees a range of sports activities ranging from
football, Netball, Basketball, Volleyball, and Athletics among many others played.
The activity that will run from 16th December 2022 to 22nd December 2022 will witness MMU participate in three sports fields including Athletics, Netball, and Football. According to the MMU Senior Nursing Officer Ms. Gloria Turagye, the teams are well prepared and she was hopeful that MMU will return home with a number of trophies.
Mrs. Grace Nyakahuma implored the students to put God first and that all would go well. She requested the Dean Faculty of Humanities and Social Science Dr. Evarist Ngabirano who blessed the teams with a final prayer.
