OCENG Peter is a Teaching Assistant (TA) who majors in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Marketing. He formerly taught at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
His primary responsibility is to assist Senior Colleagues (Professors, Assoc. Professors, Senior Lecturers, Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers) in advancing undergraduate students’ learning, by promoting enquiry and advancing human knowledge and disseminating it to students, peers and the society; through teaching, research and community engagement.
Peter has more than 7 (Seven) years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) with both National and international non-governmental organizations in Uganda (AVSI, CARITAS Gulu, IIRR & CREAM West Nile). Peter has a Certificate in Advanced Report Development using Microsoft Excel and is a proficient user of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and the Microsoft Office Suite in general.
Peter recognizes the importance of sound/high-quality Data/Information Management in managing development/emergency programs effectively. His primary responsibilities have included training staff in M&E, Data Management, the design of M&E tools, the collection of data, data mining (presentation, analysis, and interpretation), and reporting. Peter has participated in M&E teams that implemented projects funded by the USAID, European Union, DFID, IFAD and Government of Uganda.
