My research centers on utilizing food as adjuvant therapy: specifically, polyphenol-rich indigenous fruits and vegetables to enhance cardiometabolic health. In light of the troubling increase in suboptimal cardiometabolic health among Ugandans, indigenous fruits and vegetables may offer a promising solution.
