E-Resources and Digitization Section

This Section of LIS aims to provide you with an immersive and dynamic library experience tailored to meet your academic and research needs. All our users in different categories such as students, faculty members, and researchers utilize this section to access different digital libraries or electronic reference services designed as gateways to a wealth of knowledge, resources, and services at users’ disposal. The section further provides guidance on access to electronic reference services for all library users including trainings, creating of user accounts and obtaining usage statistical records to track usage. Access to these online materials ranges from e-books and scholarly journals/ journal articles to conference proceedings, white papers, book chapters, case studies, expert briefings, teaching notes among others, which provide comprehensive coverage across various disciplines to support academic pursuits.

Additionally, it offers innovative services such as virtual reference assistance, interactive tutorials, document delivery option and personalized recommendations to enhance your learning and research experience. Whether you’re exploring the latest research trends, conducting in-depth literature reviews, or seeking assistance from expert librarians, our digital section is your number one go-to destination for accessing current and quality information anytime, anywhere. This section is managed by Ms. Lady Mary Kabapagasa (a Principal Librarian) assisted by Ms. Pamella Kaganzi (an assistant librarian).
