Welcome to the Office of Quality Assurance. The Quality Assurance Directorate is dedicated to promoting and upholding the highest standards of quality across all academic and administrative functions of Mountains of the Moon University. We are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the institution.
Our core mission is to ensure that the education and services we deliver meet both national and international quality benchmarks. We work collaboratively with key stakeholders including student leaders and Faculty Quality Assurance Committees (FQACs) which oversee essential quality-related processes such as: Curriculum development and review, Teaching and learning evaluation, Research and publications quality assurance, Examinations and assessment management, and Monitoring and evaluation of institutional performance, guided by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) assessment framework and the University’s internal policies and guidelines.
These efforts enable us to align our programmes and services with national standards, the University’s strategic vision for excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement, and the broader goals of the National Development Plan (NDP).
As the University continues to grow, the Directorate is committed to strengthening and expanding its systems through innovation, adoption of digital quality management tools, and deeper stakeholder engagement. Our focus is on capacity building, promoting accountability, and enhancing partnerships that support sustainable institutional development.
