Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) is a Public University established under Statutory Instrument, Number 2 of 2022, hence a body corporate with perpetual succession and a Common Seal. First established as a Private University in 2005, by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), in accordance with the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act 2001 as amended, MMU has been making strides towards becoming an academic Centre of excellence.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To teach, supervise, promote research studies, and disseminate research findings.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
- Should have a Master Degree in the relevant field from a recognized awarding University/Institution, and being on PhD Track or PhD graduate is an added advantage.
- First Class or Upper Second Bachelor’ Degree.
- Should have at least three (3) years of teaching experience.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and adequate communications skills
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and conduct lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct research and disseminating research findings.
- Supervise students undertaking research.
- Conduct internal and external academic seminars.
- Set tests, examinations and coursework according to University standards.
- Administer and invigilate tests, coursework, and examinations according to University standards.
- Mark tests and examination scripts and compile results according to approved grading standards of the University.
- Attend to students’ inquiries and academic issues.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
